The Personal Support Worker (PSW) program
The Northwest International University Personal Support Worker (PSW) program will equip participants with the relevant special skill sets required to help patients, clients, and residents with various conditions and health care needs in a nurturing environment. As you care for patients with compassion and help them with things like personal hygiene, making meals, running their homes, and dealing with different long-term conditions, you often form close and rewarding relationships with them.
The Personal Support Worker courses of the university will cover all home and health-related services that people with physical disabilities, cognitive problems, and long-term and short-term illnesses need. The skills and knowledge you learn will give you the freedom to work in places like hospitals, homes, schools, community residential agencies, and long-term or chronic-care facilities.
The Personal Support Worker program offers a fast-track, hands-on skills training program with a practicum guaranteed, which can often lead to employment in the vibrant city of any country .
